i have had this phone for almost 9 months. i have been fairly happy with it, but i wish there were more games and backgrounds... you can't download any games or backgrounds with this phone. i wish i would've purchased another phone but this does fine for now. i use this phone everyday and it handles my needs. the only other things i wish this phone had would be better coverage in my area and interchangable face plates

This phone inst as bad as other people say. I had it for a few days and I get pretty good reception. Accept in my house. I have been with Virgin Mobile for 6 months and they have treated me well. I am 13 and this phone works out perfect for me!! So go to your store and but one now, because you will love it!!!

i just got this phone today and i've had service scince ive got it ,it has awesome features personally i'd recomend that if you have a child that wants a cell phone to get this phone. it is nice looking,and you can buy wallpapers and real music ringtones for less than even 2 dollars! im attached to this phone

You can forget what those other reviews say, because both my friend and I purchased this phone and we love it! The ringtones can be as loud or as soft as you want them, and as for reception, I've had this phone almost a year and I've never had to use my antenna once, not even to calls to Hawaii! There are three different menu options, and all are clear and easy to read. My family loves Virgin Mobile, because their plans are agreeable. You can buy top-up cards, or you can set up a credit card account. I don't know about those other people, but this phone really is great!

When I went out to buy this phone, I thought that it would be great. It is one of the worst phones ever. I very rarely got reception and if I did, it was only one or two bars. The pre-paid plan itself is overpriced compared to some other plans. The games are boring after a while. There's no camera, there are very few good ringtones, and you can't download different wallpapers or screensavers. Whenever I called someone, they could hardly hear what I was saying. All in all, I would say it's a waste of time and money. For your own good, DON'T BUY THIS PHONE!!

The phone's reception is poor, it's a piece of s..., even with the antenna extended I still had poor reception, and the ringtones are not loud (and people wonder why I don't answer my phone, it's because I DONT HEAR IT). When I ride the bus or the EL the reception is not good, if this was a really good phone I would be able to hear over the noise of the bus and the EL. I purhcase this phone for emergencies only, I don't spend a lot of time on the phone, so this sounded like the perfect plan, WRONG. Virgin Mobile (Samone) said I had lost certain privileges because I did not top-up within the 90 day deadline I should have been able to use the phone during that time, until the deadline which is July 16, 2006. I still had $42.00 left but I will lose that if I don't top up. To use up the remaining balance I will purchase a $15/$20.00 top up card and give it to my nephew to use until the money is used up, and then I will get rid of this piece of s.... A contract is looking better and better.

If you don't want a camera or need a lot of bells and whistles, this phone works great. I just wanted a phone for emergency's or convenience and needed a low cost plan and Virgin Mobile fits the bill. The battery life seems fine and the sound is good ingoing and outgoing.And if you go to the store the phone is even cheaper!

I have this phone....brand new...less than one month....without any use, the battery lasts about 2 days....no calls, no games, no gps, no nothing....I don't know where they get 150 standby minutes....that would be 6 days....no way....The phone itself is cute....but without power....what can I say

This phone works very well.

I just wanted a wireless phone for emergencies while on the road. This phone also solves the problem of people trying to get ahold of me while about an urgent matter while I'm online or out and about. Having a simple "pay as you go" phone is perfect for me.

Having a limited number of wallpaper choices, ringtone choices, no camera, and games does not bother me in the least. I just need a basic phone to make and recieve calls.

I'm a Trekie from way back. The flip phone design makes me feel like I'm contacting Starship Enterprise when I call someone. So far, no one has beamed me up :P
